Fedex question
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:40:04 AM »
Thought this Fedex flight took an odd route from KCLE to KROC this morning. Any idea why other than to give the packages a little sight seeing trip!

The flight was going to MEM and diverted enroute (for unknown reasons) to ROC.   MAybe the 727 scheduled out of ROC couldn't carry all the packages they had and FedEx decided to send in the Airbus to pick up the slack instead of having packages not arrive on time.  Just one possibility.

This is actually quite frequent for FedEx.  If a plane breaks, they will find another nearby that has enough room to get most/all of the load
