I heard this on BUR tower "caution for 757 on a landing roll". Anyone know what this means?

That means the aircraft has touched down and is rolling out to a stop.

LANDING ROLL is defined as: "The distance an aircraft travels on the ground after touchdown to the point where it can be stopped or exit to the taxiway."

Happy Listening!  8-)

Did a Boeing 757 land at Burbank the other day?  What was that all about?

I know the field can handle it, and I've seen "Air Force 2" land there on several occasions. Perhaps it was freight?

I took a look through some flightaware logs, and I didn't see any 757's land there recently, was it perhaps a 737? (not that it matters, just was killing some time).

Far as I know, UPS still lands 757's there.  And larger a/c have landed there in the past. 767 and L1011's IIRC.
