Lots of thunder storms for the planes to dance around complete with some aircraft hitting minim fuel.

Well it gets better, an aircraft had a stuck mike and the controller had to really scramble to recover.

And as Glenn knows, around this time of the year, this is typical for LAS and PHX! Got to love monsoon season. I'll be back in the thick of it next week, so it'll be good times! :)

Yes, thanks for the feed! I went outside and you could see lighting in almost every direction.  I was trying to look at the radar to see where all the cells were but around 0530Z I couldn't check out the returns on NWS. Also, could anyone hear the cross-talk from what sounds to be Metro starting around 0620Z intermingled with ATC?  :-D

Yep. I get that quite a bit with standing outside my apartment near VGT, so it isn't just related to the feed.

New SIGMET was just released as well about weather around PHX, DRK, INW, and up to PGA. That's going to affect all eastbound departures, so today will be a good day for this feed.

During the stuck mike every one could hear the pilot saying this ****** piece of **** isent working right! as the controller must be freaking out as he can't talk to any one as the situation quickly goes to hell in a hand basket!
