I have a question about emergency descend.
I am pilot. I want to know what is your procedure when we declare emergency descend???

Based on PANS-ATM part 12, i will broadcast the following information:

ATTENTION ALL AIRCRAFT IN THE VICINITY OF [or AT]
(significant point or location) EMERGENCY DESCENT IN
PROGRESS FROM (level) (followed as necessary by specific
instructions, clearances, traffic information, etc.).

We would turn away any aircraft in your immediate flight path, while giving them traffic info ( about you )...
Then - ABC123 , no traffic to affect your descent, advise your intentions when able....

In the mean time, coordinater would have called the lower airspace ( I'm in upper, above FL245 ) informing them of your descent into their airspace...

For us. it's a non-event from the moment that opposite and immediate below traffic is turned away...hand you over to lower comtroller, and finished smiley
