Guys i am proud to tell you that tonight i am starting my night-vfr training. It would be 5.30 hours of visual night flying in the vicinity of LBSF as many TGL as possible
and 1 hour of night cross-country.I already have good idea about the airport since it is the major airport in Bulgaria. So everyone who has an advice or a tip or sharing experience write something.I would be happy to read it... grin

Make sure you have excellent cockpit organization skills, and that you know where every switch is for your airplane without struggling to find it.

I would also make sure that you have good flows for each phase of flight rather than needing to rely on a checklist (most students appear to be checklist-driven).

There are far fewer visual queues for your brain to build situational awareness at night...so make sure you know your pattern power and trim settings.

In short, the night environment is not a good time to learn anything new about flying the plane.  The only thing that should be new or interesting is the night portion itself.

Good luck. It is amazing time to fly.
